Christmas 2014

This year's Christmas we had my parents and two youngest brothers come out to Texas. It was so nice to have the extra help for the kids as well as getting time to spend with them seeing that we don't get out to California too often to visit.

While they were here we were able to go down to Brazos Bend. It is famous for all their alligators and while it was too cold for the big alligators to come out we were able to see the 1 and 2 year old babies in the hatchery.

We also went to Bucee's and made some gingerbread houses

The boys enjoyed spending time with their grandparents, uncles and cousins and playing games.

What, I think, the most exciting part of the break was having my younger brother receive his mission call for our church. He opened it Christmas day. He was called to serve in the Illinois Chicago West Mission and needed to report 6 weeks later (February 4, 2015). We were all so excited for him.
