Easter

As the boys have gotten older it's been nice to see how they start to understand different things. This last Halloween they started to get the idea of "trick-or-treat" and this year they started to understand Easter egg hunts. The boys had four egg hunts and enjoyed each one.

The first egg hunt was with our community. They were in the 0-3 age group where they put eggs in wading pools then had the kids pull them out.

 

 

The second hunt was at a local church (Salem Lutheran) up in Tomball. This egg hunt is HUGE! They divided the field into 3 age groups. I talked to one of the staff members there and she told me that they had 17,000 eggs. They also had a helicopter fly over with somebody dropping candy out on to the field. Then, after the egg hunt, they had raffle prizes. This may become a new family tradition.

 

 

 

 

The third egg hunt was with our friends in their back yard and the boys got chocolate eggs which they loved.

 

The final egg hunt was a family egg hunt. We had the teenagers hide the eggs then all the little kids went searching. Everyone enjoyed themselves.
